Room Availability, Pricing, and Booking
Find real-time room availability and secure the best rates directly through our up-to-date online system. Unlike traditional Online Travel Agent sites, you won’t the Greenleaf Inn listed there. We’re dedicated to enhancing your experience by providing direct access to our services during booking and throughout your stay.
Our typical minimum stay requirement is two to three nights during our busy season, ensuring all our guests can enjoy their visit. However, if you’re planning a shorter stay, including one-night stays or even same-day reservations, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to accommodate your needs to the best of our abilities.
Room rates are based on single or double occupancy and are subject to the current Maine lodging tax rate, which is 9%. Each of our guest rooms features either a queen or king-sized bed, comfortably accommodating a maximum of two to four guests. Please note that we cannot accommodate additional guests beyond the specified capacity.
Your room rate includes complimentary coffee, water, tea, and packaged snacks, as well as an array of additional perks designed to enhance your stay. These benefits include complimentary parking, wireless internet access, afternoon refreshments, and access to our local concierge service. And, naturally, the scenery is truly exceptional.
About Our Inn:
Arrival and Departure: Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and for your convenience, we offer hassle-free self-check-in options after 7:00 PM. Check-out time is always set at 11:00 AM, and we provide parking for you to enjoy local activities even after your stay.
Pets: Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets within our inn premises. Fortunately, there are kennels nearby for your convenience. If you’re traveling with dogs weighing 25 pounds and under, our family cottages, located off the Greenleaf Inn property, are pet-friendly. (Registered Service Pets are also permitted.)
Children: Boothbay is a fantastic destination for family vacations, and we’re delighted to assist you with family-friendly activities and planning for a memorable stay. However, our inn primarily caters to adults seeking a tranquil retreat. We do have some family cottages that are perfect for those traveling with children. We kindly request that if you’re visiting with children, you consider staying in one of our cottages to ensure your family’s enjoyment and out of consideration for our other guests seeking a peaceful adult retreat. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for details about our family cottages.
Non-Smoking Policy: The Greenleaf Inn maintains a strict non-smoking policy both indoors and outdoors. We greatly appreciate your complete cooperation in adhering to this policy. Due to the breezy nature of our hilltop location, smoke can easily drift indoors. Therefore, we do not have designated outdoor smoking areas. The use of any burning items, such as candles or incense, is not allowed. Please note that evidence of smoking in rooms may result in cleaning charges starting at double your nightly room rate. Your understanding and compliance are greatly valued.
Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds:
To secure your reservation, a deposit equivalent to 50% of your stay (plus a 9% lodging tax) per room is charged. We accept major credit cards including Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover. The remaining balance is due upon your arrival at the inn, and we also accept traveler’s checks or cash during check-in. For reservations made within three days of your arrival, the full amount of your stay will be collected at the time of booking.
As an independently owned and operated inn, we take great care not to overbook our accommodations. Each reservation is tailored to specific dates, room(s), and the number of guests, and we eagerly await your arrival. Cancellations and last-minute changes have a significant impact on us.
We understand that plans can sometimes change, and we’ll make every effort to accommodate reservation changes or cancellations. While we maintain one of the most flexible cancellation policies among B&Bs, we kindly request your cooperation in case you need to make alterations. Once your reservation is confirmed, a cancellation notice must be provided at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit, subject to a 5% refund fee for credit card deposits.
If you provide less than 14 days’ notice, we can only refund your deposit if we are able to rebook the room for all the nights you had reserved. We make every effort to process deposit refunds and appreciate guests giving us as much notice as possible for cancellations.
Please note that the same cancellation policy applies to changes in your arrival or departure dates, resulting in a shorter stay. Refunds are not issued for late arrivals or early departures unless we can fill the vacancy.
Gift Certificate Option: As a small business, cancellations can be challenging for us to manage, and we greatly appreciate refunds being accepted in the form of a gift certificate for a future stay (valid for 10 years). If you choose a gift certificate for the refund, it will cover the full deposit amount, and the cancellation fee will not be applicable.
