Admirals Quarters Inn Room 12, Boothbay Harbor: two-story suite with three balconies, sleeps 4
Room 12 is the only unit at the inn with two bedrooms on separate levels and three private balconies, so two couples or a family of four each get their own space.
You enter by a private outdoor stairway. The lower level has a queen bedroom with its own balcony and a spacious bathroom. Upstairs, a large open room holds the king bed, a sitting area, a fireplace and a small secret balcony facing the harbor and open ocean.
The bedrooms themselves do not have direct water views. Each of the three balconies does, from a different angle.
Admirals Quarters Inn is a historic sea captain's home at 71 Commercial St, on the water in downtown Boothbay Harbor. It runs like a small Boothbay Harbor hotel, with a front desk, free parking, a shared guest kitchen and a harbor-view solarium, but it still feels like a home.
